Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySOPHIE MARIELLE CHARRIERE June 30, 1986 - October 27, 2014 Our Beautiful Sophie, It's been a year since your passing and there are no words to describe how much we miss you, how many miss you. A year of surrendering to this reality; what was, what was going to be, what will never be. Meeting several people who meant a lot to you and as a result us; friends, fellow students, University of Manitoba and Winnipeg faculty members, colleagues, practicum instructors, employers, and so many more; so grateful for their presence. Visiting places and attending events to remember, honor, grieve, cherish. An intimate gathering in your honor, April 16, 2015, at the University of Manitoba, hosted by the Faculty of Social Work, Student Association; a beautiful plaque in your honor. Convocation, May 27, 2015, at the University of Manitoba, to accept your Bachelor of Social Work Degree, and to honor all recipients. One does not need to experience the devastation of such a tragic loss, to demonstrate kindness, compassion and empathy. We are so grateful to all those who reached out, offering and needing comfort and support; respecting one's journey through sorrow, grief and sharing. "The individual is capable of both great compassion and great indifference. He has it within his means to nourish the former and outgrow the latter." -- Norman Cousins Sophie, thank you for so many beautiful memories; your love, wisdom, simplicity, openness, creativity, genuine respect for our earth and humanity...your spirit. Eternal Love for You, Mom, Dad, Daniel

Dear Jeanine, Luc and Daniel: May your precious memories of Sophie continue to sustain and bring comfort to you during this difficult season. Sophie was truly remarkable, and accomplished so much in her short life. A true reflection of who she was, and of her noteworthy upbringing...you can be proud. "Those we love remain with us. For love itself lives on. And cherished memories never fade because a loved ones gone. Those we love can never be...more than a thought apart. For as long as there is memory they'll always live in our hearts." (Author Unknown) Please know our thoughts and prayers are with you always, Love Marilyn Navarro (cousin) and Family - Posted by: Marilyn Navarro (Cousin) on: Nov 09, 2015
